Sweden qualifies for the semifinal with full amount of points
Also in their fourth game the Swedish players gained two points. In the morning match they beat Latvia 12:4 and will qualify for the semifinals from the first place in Group A. They didn’t lose a single point in their four games. Read more...

Austria limited by injuries qualified to semi-final
Austria needed to win in today’s match. Despite the injuries of several players the Austrians approached this match very well. They had only ten players prepared to the rink but the Britons came out in full lineup. The Austrians prepared a very easy but effective tactic. Read more...

The Americans were close to getting one point against the Polish
The USA entered the game very well. The Poles were pushing hard but the Americans waited for their deadly breakaways. In one of their first opportunities the Americans managed to score. Zimmerman proceeded on the right wing and managed to beat Strazinski. The Polish pressure continued, but tight American defence did not let the Poles get into big chances. The Poles were only shooting from a distance and these shots were reliably saved by excellent Frank. He allowed the first goal in the 19th minute when Damian Girys converted a nice cross. Mikael Järvi: The game is much better in front of many people
The Finns could not have go through the well-playing Swedes for a long time. Finally at the time 35:35 the Finns scored after a cooperation of Kohonen brothers. The captain Mikael Järvi scored an important goal in the 52nd minute. The Finns finally won 4:0. Read more...
