An ambitious team lead by captain Mattias Mikulski is coming from Poland. He has been playing Swedish Superliga as well as his eight of his team-mates.
How many WFCs have you ever played at?
I have only played once at the world championship. And it was the C-division tournament in Spain two years ago.
What is your experience with the national team so far?
I have been playing for over 2 years now so I have already a couple of matches behind me. We won in Spain and it was a great experience for me and the Team. Now we have some new players from Poland and Sweden joining the team. I am proud to be the new Captain of the national team and to lead it into this year´s WFC.
What is the final ranking your team wants to achieve at this tournament?
Of course we would like to win the tournament. On the other hand we pay a lot of respect to our opponents. Germany is looking good and in my opinion Germany and Poland are the favourites to win the B-division.
Do you have to financially support your teams´participation at the WFC?
We have to pay our trip to Poland and back to Sweden. Everything else is paid by the National team.
How many training camps have you had over the last two and a half years?
There were at least 8 camps over the last 2 years.
What is your role in the team?
As a Captain I am going to lead the team. I am the one to show them the way to victory.
What are your tournament expectations?
I hope there will be some great games and many nice goals. It wouldn´t be bad for me to score some goals, too. How about the game-winning penalty shot in the final?
Why is that just you who should be supported by Czech audience?
We have some great players who are worth seeing. We prefer a fast play with a lot of combination. We have the polish fighting spirit and our big quest is to win.
